ANTI-BULLYING

St. Anne’s Anti – Bullying Ambassadors

Bullying is not tolerated at St. Anne’s Catholic High School. Bullying is the deliberate harming, threatening or frightening of someone. It does not need to be just physical. You must cooperate with your teaches by avoiding things such as name calling, mocking and teasing as well as online and cyber-bullying.

In November 2013, during National Anti-Bullying Week, 10 Students were trained by the Diana Award as Anti-Bullying Ambassadors at the London Training Event. The programme offered a range of fun, interactive training sessions to help young people tackle bullying in their schools and communities.

Students took part in fun workshops such as Poetry, Public Speaking and Singing.

TWO Students per year group were chosen to attend the training, and were able to come back into school and use the tools and experiences they had to support a Cyber-Bullying Workshop for all Year 7’s at our last PHSE Day.
