Our New Sixth Form Centre

The builders were on site for just over a year, and our new Sixth Form Centre is now complete and up on our Palmers Green Site.

Our former Sixth Form facilities did not give justice to the rising achievements and grades of our previous and current students; with outstanding GCSE results, more and more of our students are opting to continue their education at St. Anne's.

With the Government’s Raising of the Participation Age (RPA), which will see all young people continuing into education or training until the age of 18, the need for us to have a purpose built Sixth Form Centre, is even more crucial.

We embarked on a fundraising campaign to support this exciting new build with a target of £50,000.

But… We Need Your Help

Building work began in October 2014, and with the building structure up, the Centre can now be seen complete on our Upper Site Campus.

Originally, only Phase One (ground and first floors) were funded. However, we had some brilliant news in March 2015 and secured funding for Phase Two (second floor) - but we need your help even more than before to be able to continue our repayments for the loan taken out to complete the whole project.

Year 12 and 13 students moved in after the official opening on Tuesday 19th January 2016. Christmas and New Year Holidays. This now frees up space in the main building for Years 10 and 11.

Fundraising began at our school talent show 'St. Anne’s Got Talent', held jointly with FOSA (Friends of St. Anne’s) back in July 2014. It was a fantastic event to kick off the campaign. Since then, we have continued to drive this appeal and raise as much as possible.
