Students having their say

Our School Council meets every term to discuss matters from a student’s perspective relating to improvements and suggestions for the school.

Our Council is made up of student representatives from each form across Key Stage 3, 5 & 5, including the Head girl and her deputies.

All students have the opportunity to discuss issues and raise ideas during form discussion time, led by the Form Tutor. These are then brought to the school council meetings to be discussed.

Mrs Danneau-Joyce, Director of Vocational Studies & Student Voice sits on the student council, which provides a direct link with the Headteacher, the leadership team and the teaching staff.

School Council members also get the chance to take part in projects and activities, as well as go on trips related to all things Political. Last academic year, the students made a great film to support our Question Time event during Parliament Week, which was seen by local MPs in Enfield & Haringey. A recent trip has also included students attending a day visit to City Hall.
