We are seeking to appoint an energetic, creative and inspiring teacher of Food Technology.

We currently teach KS3 and KS4 follow AQA Food Preparation & Nutrition code 8585 GCSE. 19 in year 11, 14 in year 10.  Well-resourced DT department, PC suite available for GCSE lessons. Excellent technician support (support for food practicals is prioritised in DT) and in 2020 we achieved ‘excellent results’ from very enthusiastic students.

Alongside our academic success, we pride ourselves on our rich and creative curriculum with a wealth of enrichment opportunities to promote engagement and enjoyment of food. The successful candidate will be working within a friendly and supportive team. They will teach students who are eager to learn and whose behaviour for learning is excellent. This post would be suited to a candidate who is looking for a new challenge.

The interviews will be held on Thursday 24 September 2020 at the Enfield Site starting at 8.30am. The interview will include teaching a 50 minute lesson and written tasks. There may be further shortlisting prior to formal interviews.
