Please note:

• We do not require a Certificate of Catholic Practice.   
• Include a copy of a Baptismal Certificate (where necessary)
• Applicants from other Christian denominations and any other Faith may attach a letter confirming membership from their Minister or Religious Leader.  We will only accept letters that are written on your place of Worship’s official letter-headed paper.
• You must also complete your Local Authority’s Common Application Form (E-Admissions) as well as the School’s Supplementary Information Form.   
  • The Application Form on eAdmissions online must be returned to the Local Authority by the closing date. 
  • The Supplementary Information Form, along with any supporting evidence must be submitted by 31 October 2024, by post, email or can be dropped into either campus: Enfield or Palmers Green. 

Applications received after this date will be considered after the initial allocation process has been completed. If the School is oversubscribed it is very unlikely that late applicants will obtain a place.

Applications for In-Year admissions are made initially through Enfield Admissions and then directed to the School. If a place is available and there is no waiting list, the child will be admitted. If more applications are received than there are places available then applications will be ranked by the governing body in accordance with the oversubscription criteria which can be read in the Admissions Policy. If a place cannot be offered at this time then you may ask us for the reasons, and you will be informed of your right of appeal.

You will be offered the opportunity of being placed on a waiting list. Names are removed from the list at the end of each academic year. When a place becomes available the governing body will re-rank the list and make an offer. Please click on the link below to download the form:

In-Year Supplementary Information Form

Application may be made for a child to be educated out of his/her age group i.e. a 12-year-old being admitted to a Year 7, a 17-year-old to a Year 12 or any child admitted in-year to the year below their chronological age group. The applicant should write to the Chair of Governors at the time of application requesting that the child may be admitted out of her chronological age group.

If your child is not offered a place at St. Anne’s Catholic High School for Girls your child’s name will be placed on the school’s waiting list. If your child is not offered a place at the School you will be entitled to appeal to an independent panel. Details will be given in the letter of refusal. The decision of the panel is final.

St. Anne’s Catholic High School for Girls has a waiting list of those students who have not been offered a place but whose parents express the wish for them to take up a place should one become available. If a place does become available all applicants are assessed in accordance with the entry criteria. Date of receipt of the application is not a factor.

The School is committed to taking its fair share of children who are vulnerable and/or hard to place, as set out in the locally agreed protocols. Accordingly, outside the normal admissions round the governing body is empowered to give absolute priority to a child where admission is requested under local protocol that has been agreed by both the Diocese and governing body for the current school year. The Governing body has this power even when admitting the child would mean exceeding the published admission number.

St. Anne’s Catholic High School for Girls is committed to fairness and transparency in the way it operates its admissions procedures. St. Anne's Sixth Form is open to Girls & Boys aged 16-18 for Key Stage 5 study. Students transferring from Year 11 must meet the requirements for the courses for which they have applied. Please see St. Anne's Sixth Form entry requirements for the relevant year of entry. Applications from external students are welcome and places will be offered up to maximum capacity.
