OUR CHAPLAIN:

Mr. S. La Barbera

The role of the chaplain is to support Religious Education and the Catholic Life of the School. This is done by visiting classes, working with students, supporting teachers and by being present around the school.

Mr. La Barbera works across both sites and has an office next to the school Chapels. Students can visit the Chapels before school, as well as break and lunchtime.

 

LITURGY TEAM

Our students are excellent in taking part in our Liturgical celebrations of School. Students on both sites altar serve, sing, read and prepare for such occasions under the guidance of the school chaplain, Mr La Barbera.

At our Upper Site, we have Sixth Form Liturgy Leaders who support the KS4 Liturgy team for every occasion. Sixth Form students also have the opportunity to sign up as Eucharistic Ministers. In March 2023, 8 Students completed their training and were commissioned as Eucharistic Ministers by Father Daniel Humpreys at our End of Spring Term Mass.
