Key Stage 3

Our KS3 curriculum offers a broad educational experience. Students study a variety of subjects which helps them to build confidence and also develop skills for learning and life.

THE KEY STAGE 3 TEAM IS MADE UP OF:

  • MR. D. DELANEY - ASSISTANT HEADTEACHER
  • MS. E. CASSIDY-JBIRI - YEAR 7 TRANSITION LEAD AND LEARNING SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR
  • MS. S. HASGOL - LEARNING SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR FOR YEAR 8
  • MS. S. IBRAHIM - LEARNING SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR FOR YEAR 9

As a Key Stage team, we work together to ensure that the girls at St. Anne’s have continuity in terms of their experience in each year group. We ensure that all students reach the high expectations set by the school in line with our guidelines for girls and our code of conduct, always following the ethos of our mission statement.

We also work closely with our teaching colleagues to ensure that all our students are supported and feel motivated in order to achieve their individual academic goals.

We encourage our students to get involved in the overall school community activities and events, where multiple opportunities for roles of responsibility are available; for example, two students per form represent their class in School Council Meetings each term. There are regular trips organised within subject areas for pupils, all designed to complement their curriculum. There are also international trips which are organised annually.

Our KS3 curriculum allows students to think about their strengths whilst keeping their options open for the future - please see below for further information on each subject. In Year 9, Students choose their subjects choices for GCSE Study at KS4 and are prepared for their transition to the Upper Site.
